GAME 14 IN DETROIT

Lest We Forget...

Thank-you Veterans current and past, for all your sacrifices to make our way of life strong and free.

Thoughts on tonights game...

Taylor Hall played across the river in Windsor for 3 years previous to being drafted by the Oilers. Hopefully with friends and family in the Joe Louis tonight, Hall will bring his A-Game. You hope that he brings the A-game for every shift regardless but, having people you know in the building to see you play has got to give you that extra spring in your step. Taylor took the benching fairly well based on his comments during an interview after practice yesterday. He gets it.

If our PK and continue the improvement they had shown a couple of games ago...I really think we have a chance to win. We will need to start by having more discipline and not taking dumb penalties. We will need to keep pace with the skill and speed of the Red wings if we hope to get any points tonight.

Chris Osgood is still injured with a groin issue for the Wings, So... Jimmy Howard will be in net. Howard has played fairly well though.

If I had to make a prediction on the score tonight....I will call a 4-2 loss. But I have been wrong before.

GO Oilers Go!
