ON THE ROAD...

After a poor performance against Florida on Sunday, The Oilers are on the road in Minnesota & Calgary. The Oilers are 0-13 in their last 13 games in The Excel Energy centre in Minny. Hopefully tomorrow's game will break that streak and we can finally get a win in that building!

The Calgary game on Saturday will hopefully be another spirited affair. I don't believe we will be able to dominate the game like we did in game one, but if we come out strong and physical, I think we will do alright.

It was inferred on the radio yesterday that Tom Renney knows what the issue is with why we were so flat in game 2 vs. Florida. He didn't say what it was, only that he knew how to correct it. I am speculating here, but I wonder if it has to do with Taylor Hall taking the longest shifts of any player thus far?

***UPDATE***
It was reported by Tom Renney himself that he believe that the team trained to hard during practice and were not able to totally flush out the Lactic Acid from they're systems which caused the team to have "heavy legs." He also stated that he knows how this happened and it should not occur again.

I too am on the road today, so this is just a quick note on some thoughts on an off day.

GO OilersGO!
