GOALTENDING & PHYSICALITY
So it was announced that Dubnyk will get the start tonight with Deslauriers will back him up. I have heard a lot of media types say that Dubnyk has the inside track on getting the back up job here in E-Town. I don't understand this mind set at all.
I watched Dubnyk struggle last year just like you all did. I'm not sure why these media guys think Dubnyk should win this battle. Obviously they around the team and management and I'm not, so they must know something I don't. What's funny is, Jason Gregor tweeted that Darren Dreger says more teams have interest in Deslauriers than Dubnyk. I am thoroughly confused by this whole scenario. I will be glad when it's sorted out once and for all.
Steve MackIntyre is in tonight, so hopefully he'll get some good minutes to get the physical game going for the Oil tonight. Jim Vandermeer is also back in tonight as Kurtis Foster is injured apparently. Hopefully Vandermeer will have gotten the message and come out fired up and just start hitting everything that moves!
